One of the finest things about Farmville is the ability to send free gifts to your Farmville friends. It is a good way to strengthen your friendships with neighbors plus it costs you nothing more than a couple seconds of your time. You can now purchase things at the Market and send your friends and other accounts gifts.
Free Gifts
The available free gifts occasionally differ based on seasons and events. Nevertheless, there are always a couple different items that will certainly be welcome. You can always give things that are special and can’t be obtained in another way. When you’re sending trees, visit Farmville Trees to make sure that you’re gifting a tree that yields a worthwhile harvest (give Olive and Pomegranate Trees instead of Plum). During the Christmas event, make sure to send lots of presents so that your friends will have a good time opening presents on the 24th of December. The more you give, the more likely it is that you’ll get gifts too, so be sure to send your free gifts every day.
Gifts that Cost Cash or Coin
You can now purchase gifts at the Market to give to friends. This is a relatively new added Farmville feature. Gazebo, Treehouse, Manor including a wide variety of seasonal items are some examples. These can be bought with either Farm Cash or Coin. You can strengthen your friendship with your friends by sending them a high-priced item that they cannot afford.
‘
Not Spoiled, Gifted!’
You need to leave gifts in your Gifts Box until you accumulate a specific number of different gifts to obtain the “Not Spoiled, Gifted” achievement. The blue ribbon will be given to you the minute your Gifts Box has 21 unique gifts. Make sure you get rid of identical items—use them or sell. You need space in order to get this ribbon. These duplicate items only take up the needed field space!
Requests
You will normally get lots of gifts if you have a good amount of neighbors. You will not like all the gifts given to you. You can sell your excess and unwanted gifts right from your “Gifts” box. To avoid getting unwanted gifts, put a note on your farm (something like “I would really appreciate some cows or chickens”) and hopefully people will look at it before gifting you. You can do the same for other players.
Dual Accounts
Free gifts can be a good bonus if you are using two accounts to level up faster in Farmville. You can send items to each of your two farms. If one of your accounts has more coins than other, send yourself the items that your other account can’t afford. To develop your two farms into huge plantations, just use your common sense and be persistent.
