Gift for step-mother’s 40th birthday?
My step mother will turn 40 later this month, I want to get her something really special as she has helped me a lot over the past couple of years and I see her as more of a friend than a parent now. However, she lives some distance away so I don’t really know what she wants, if I ask she will tell me not to worry, and my dad is a typical man and says vouchers lol!
Could anyone give me some ideas or a link to a website with some unique gift ideas on it?
I know when my Mom turned 40 she wanted to go hide because she felt old. She never looked it, but she felt old.
My mother isn’t necessarily a girly girl, but she certainly does enjoy a good pedicure and spa treatment once in a blue moon. They’re pretty expensive to do all the time, it adds up, which is why it’s a fun and special treat. Maybe send her to a place where they pamper her for a day and serve her lunch. Explain that she’s done so much for you over the years that you wanted someone to take care of her.
Or edible delights if she likes fruit. They don’t serve all areas so you’d have to check their website. But DAMN is that fruit to die for! And beautiful too! But if she has nobody to help her eat it, it may go to waste and that’d be a shame.
