christmas gifts jar recipes
inexpensive home made Christmas gifts?

Like many today, my family is on a tight budget and we have several family get togethers for the holidays. I am looking for some inexpensive fun and original ideas for gifts. For adults and children. I can do small crafts that does not entail sewing and food.
Any ideas and recipes would be appreciated.

Thanks

some ideas that I have that I need suggestion for:

-rice sock for heat therapy
-recipes in a jar-
-ornaments

But any other idea is welcomed too!
I will do food like cookies in a jar, baked cookies, candies, etc— I just don’t want to sew

Instructables.com would be a good place to go. They have ideas for home made toys like really cool Harry Potter wands that children would probably love

Most importantly, You would need some paint and a glue gun.

Here are some other gift ideas:

Even if you don’t like the ideas there, they might give you other ideas while you are reading through the list.
Just go out and research or get a library book on crafts.
