Gift for baptism: yes or no?
My niece’s baptism is on Sunday. She’s 8 months old, and the family is Catholic. I’ve never been to one…am I supposed to bring a gift or something?? Thanks!!
(And since I’m not baptized or Catholic, I’m not a godmother. If that makes any difference.)
Usually you do. A card and a gift card or savings bond would be good. Some people give religious artifacts, like a cross necklace, earrings, picture frame etc.
